Apples in Stereo video shot in Knoxville

without comments

We’ve been privileged to document the developing film/video career of Daniel Coy in previous posts (here and here), and now the member of lo-fi indie band Deek Hoi has another feather to add to his cap. He dropped us this line last week:

“I wanted to let you know that the music video that I directed for the Apples in Stereo was released today. It features about a dozen notable Knoxville musicians, artists, and writers (and some Maryville College grads) and is part of a larger project by the Apples to have a video for each track on their 2010 record ‘Travelers in Space and Time.’ Elijah Wood (whose label releases Apples records) appears in an earlier video, and other entries were directed by noise-rock super hero Robert Beatty (of the Hair Police and Burning Star Core). To my knowledge, this is the only vid filmed in Knoxville.”
