• Blount Mansion will present its annual “Ghosts and Ghouls Walking Tour” of downtown Knoxville at 7 p.m. Thursday and Friday. • Maple Lane Farms (1040 Maple Lane, Greenback) is turning its 11th Annual Corn Maze into a haunted attraction starting at dusk on Friday and Saturday. Chick-Fil-A is sponsoring this year’s (not-haunted) theme of “Eat More Chikin,” and the events feature a 10-acre corn maze, a pumpkin patch, hayrides, a rock wall and more. • The Oakes Farm Corn Maze “Trail of Doom,” 8240 Corryton Road in Corryton, will operate Thursday through Saturday. • For the Last Friday Art Walk in downtown Maryville on Friday night, the 16-piece big band known as The Streamliners will transform into “The Screamliners” for a special Halloween show at The Capitol Theatre, 127 W. • The second annual Trunks & Treats Halloween celebration will take place from 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday at New Midland Plaza, located in Alcoa. Several churches have combined through Blount Family Ministries to host the event. Last year, 5,000 people attended, and organizers said they plan to hand out half a million pieces of candy. Everyone in the community is invited, and everything will be free of charge.
• If the temps are too chilly for your trick-or-treaters, the Mall at Knoxville Center (3001 Knoxville Center Drive, Knoxville) and West Town Mall (7600 Kingston Pike, Knoxville) both offer free alternatives on Saturday.
